Technique Challenge 1 (Tech01)
Use Your Stamp More Than Once
Good Morning, and Welcome to our first Technique Challenge!
Today, we are doing an easy idea that doesn’t require unusual things you may not have. Hopefully, you can incorporate one of them into a card you need to make this week.
Generational Stamping or Shadow Stamping
We’ll use the stamp twice or three times to create a neat effect. Both of these techniques work best for me using a solid image, but feel free to prove me wrong with a fabulous card using a line stamp!
For Generational Stamping, you stamp an image three times and do not re-ink the stamp in between to create a sort of movement.
In Shadow Stamping, you stamp once normally and then stamp again just slightly “off” of the original stamping spot to create a textured look.
Here are my cards:
Typical Horse and
Lace Floral
You can work on this challenge whenever you want. There is no time limit. Please post your work in the Technique challenge gallery with the words Tech01 in the title and post your link here, so we can all see it.
Have fun ladies!
Since many of us are SU! enthusiasts, I’m going to give you very early warnings about upcoming challenges, so that you can order if needed. Within the next month, the only unusual thing you’ll need is household waxed paper. Next month, watercolor wonder crayons and black embossing powder will be needed.
