Clear Block Storage

My question is how are you storing your clear blocks? I would love to hear all ideas.

Thanks,

I am currently storing mine in a couple of the largest SU! clamshells, swaddled in felt. See post #5 of this thread for a pic!

This way, they can be transported to workshops very nicely and safely in a demo bag, stamp 'n go bag, or any other container you use. However, I do plan to create a more permanent home for them, but that is for another weekend.

Mine are in one of those turquoise tins - as well as all the new punches (they're in a second tin) - It's temporary, but it works for now and they don't get dusty.

For now, I'm using a small Sterlite 3-drawer unit you can put on your desktop. I cut some felt I had laying around to fit the bottom of the drawers.

Right now I have mine in a large stamp case. When I bought my first batch I was not thinking about how I would need multiples of several sizes because of clubs and classes!!! DUH!! Now I need a bigger storage unit!

I guess I don't baby my blocks as much as the rest of you. I have the IKEA racks for my punches and they are in one of the hanging baskets off of there. I did notice today that one or two of them are a little scratched, but they work just the same so I'm not worried.

I was going to get it, but now I'm back to debating. I don't really need it. . . . . but when has that ever stopped me before. . . .

I bought it. Currently, I have my clear blocks stored in one of the SU! blue tin containers. But I like the idea of them being individually cushioned in foam. Being stacked on top of each other the way they are right now, I'm afraid they will start to scratch each other over time. Who wants ugly, scratched up blocks?

Was on my first order too! I can't wait to put the blocks in it. Silly me keeps putting them back in their original packages so the don't get all scratched up.
