Do we have to be in the Few Holiday Cards a Month Club to play?
October 29 Stamp Jam
OK, I'm gonna get ya'll started early today.
First Challenge of the Day: Scrapbooking Challenge - The theme for this Stamp Jam's scrapbooking challenge is PUNCH ART!
I plan to use a punch art koala bear on a scrapbook layout. Be on the lookout for that later today. (I have company so it may be a while!)
If you need some inspiration, check out needmorestamps samples in the gallery! http://www.stampinaddicts.com/galler...searchid=69856
This challenge can also be done digitally!
Second Challenge of the Day: If you are in the Few Holiday Cards a Month Club (you know who you are) - get your October cards done or maybe even do your November cards early!
There will be a couple of other hostesses playing along with me today. So, let's have some fun and share our winter projects!

Okay I'm sending thank you notes from my birthday.....I do need to make some SAS cards and December technique cards today too.
I need a Thank You note swap....I make a lot of them in classes, but I can't send those to anyone who attends my classes--that would be weird!!
eta: So then, I thought, "That would be a different theme swap to do/host at Leadership", but is there no 2012 leadership forum yet??? (I could have just missed it.)

OK, I've been out most of the morning with my company, so this next challenge is late in posting.
The nest challenge is to create decorative items for the upcoming holidays - Christmas ornaments or items around the house. Whatever you choose to do, have some fun.
I'll be making an ornament in a bit - depending on how long company stays.

I posted the previous challenge in the chat thread. I guess I should have posted here. Sorry. I seem to be having a lot of blond moments this weekend.

In case you missed it there:I'm late posting the next challenge. Sorry. I took a long hot bath and lost track of time!!
Our theme: Feasts! Thanksgiving is right around the corner for those of us in the US. But that is only one excuse for a feast in the next several months. Most families also gather for a big family meal at Christmas or New Years.
However, Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday of the year. I just love that it focuses on family and friends and all the good things in our life. And the food is sooooo good too.
So your challenge, should you choose to accept it, is to craft something for your feast. It could be invitations, place cards, favors, centerpieces, napkin rings, menu cards, etc. etc. Not hosting the feast yourself this year? It could also be a thank you gift for your hostess.
Ready, set, stamp!
(I have some samples and I'll be posting them very soon!)

Ok, so I didn't make it because of Paula's challenge, but I finished it today and it fits the challenge. Does that count?

And here's one I'm hoping to do for a class, but so far I have only 1 taker. Also not done for today's challenge, but it fits so I'm gonna run with it!

Saturdays never go as planned around here. But finally, here are my place and menu cards.
And just in case you think you want to come to my house for Thanksgiving this year . . . we're actually going out to eat. It's my birthday and I'm NOT cooking.

Thanks for all the lovely creations!! They are all fabulous and really get my creative juices going! I'm not playing today - been getting ready for the Nor'Easter. The lights just flickered twice. I seriously wonder if the power company does that to tell us to get ready, your power is so going out tonight.
I finished my Rudolph and Santa M&M tubes, but they are CASEs.
Ornament is next....

I'm still working on mine, but a couple of other things I thought we could work on would be
Holiday Wrappings - gift tags, bows, boxes - you get the idea!
And my last project will be something to help me with a winter project. I'm decluttering and am making tags for a couple of bags that I'm using to sort stuff into - mostly recycling and give away - stuff that I need to bag up and take somewhere else, so the tags will come in handy.
If you have any projects that fit either category, feel free to post them.
I'm still working on mine and will probably post tomorrow. Apologies for all the teasers, but it's been a good day for company and not so much for crafting.

I made a Matchbox for the Holiday Box challenge! the new Hanukkah stamp fits just perfectly! I used the Tempting Turquoise Embossing powder -- it came up a little light in the photo but looks great in real life.

Apologies for falling off the planet for a couple of days, but things are much better here. I really do want to share some of my ideas with you as I carve out some time to post these things.
Here's the Scrapbooking challenge with links to my Punch Art sample. I hope you like them!
