BH2009.10 - My Digital Studio Blog Carnival (October 2009)

And it's happening right here on Stampin' Addicts! Starting at noon EST on Saturday, October 3, Stampin’ Addicts will be hosting a Blog Party that will be done carnival style (this is new for us!).

The links will be posted here in this post instead of linking in a circle and each blog will have a sidebar button that will link back here to the master list of blogs. Each "Party Blog" will showcase different ideas on how to use MDS. You'll see how to use MDS to plan traditional stamping projects, how to create hybrid projects (that use both traditional and digital features) and how to create completely digital projects. We have all had such a blast getting ready for this and we can't wait to show you how incredible My Digital Studio is!

The party starts this weekend and keeps going until November 1st so you can come back as many times as you want during October. Be sure to join us as we celebrate the launch of Stampin' Up!'s My Digital Studio

It's almost here! The party starts tomorrow and we have some awesome stuff to show off! It's not a good party without a few good rumours to spread around right?

So. . . . . in the spirit of making the party fun for everyone. . . .(of course I have the best of intentions right?). . . . .

Rumour has it that there will be a video that was created with MDS as well - Yeah, that's right, got a kid graduating and you need a video for the senior function at church - now you can do it in MDS!. Cool huh?

Furthermore, I've heard that there will be some hybrid projects - meaning that a digital project (card or scrapbook) is created and printed and then real embellishments are added to it. Awesome! I can't wait to see these!

And for all you traditionalists out there who aren't sure if digital is for you . . . Rumour has it that Miss Holly is going to show us how to use My Digital Studio to create our layout before we make our traditional project. This eliminates wasted paper and all those attempts that I throw away (I'm sure I'm probably the only one though).

So don't forget to stop by starting tomorrow at noon! It's going to be a PAR - TAY!

I've heard rumblings there will also be a 3D project - made by designing and printing your own cardstock with this fantastic program. Who woulda thought!!!

Rumor has it that there will be individual scrap pages (great way for you to CASE a layout!) and whole scrapbooks!

Oh Yippeee I can't wait!! I heard a rumor that everyone who leaves a comment on each blog will win a free MDS software. Of course I think I heard it when I said it out loud just now and it's not really true.......but since I couldn't participate in the blog hop, other than as a hopper, I wanted to play along with the rumor game. lol

Ok, I think I saw them all. Everyone did such a cool job. I think I learned or saw something new at every single "ride" at our carnival! Great job educating people about MDS.

Wow, I am blown away!! First, I forget who's idea it was to do an MDS hop, but they're a genius!! I haven't seen the program yet, just items made from it, and I learned soooooooo much today!! When I first heard we were doing this, I thought.....flat pages.....YUCK!!! I will never be interested in this one, but knew others would, just not my thing at all. Well, that's what I get for thinking, never have been all that great at it. lol Even before the hop I'd decided I needed this software....then wavered a bit.....now I'm even more convinced!! In 5+ yrs as a demo I've never done a WS, only classes. (This was my choice). Well, now I will hold my first WS this month with me as hostess solely for the purpose of hoping to get enough orders to get this at 1/2 price with my Instant Income. It seems like SU has really outdone themselves with this!! Thanks to all of you for showing so many things that can be done with it.
