    Kids Valentines Ideas

Anyone make their own Valentines with or for their kids? I was thinking of attempting it this year. But, guessing we should start like, now.

So, here's a thread to start some ideas!!!

I found two cute ideas on the web. One is an owl, made with the Pillow Box and the other is an "iPod" made with the Matchbox. Here's a link to my blog post, that links to the originals:

I'm not real big on robots, but thought this little guy was cute as could be, and he has his own candy. Especially for a boy valentine.

That Robot is super cute, and I love the ones you put on your blog Krystal, but I'm looking for something simpler. We have to make 50 -- for the whole second grade.

This is what we made last year.

I'm thinking something with the Sock Monkey, if Eve is willing to color it.

What about using a flower die cut like Flower Folds or Fun Flowers and attaching it to the front of a lollipop. Then stamping a small heart and punching it out with a circle punch and adhereing it to the center of the flower. Or a valentine sentiment in the center.

You could put your kids picture ona tag for the second one in MDS.
I really like this tray idea for a kids party. ETA: Teh tray holds cup red juice, strawberries, red potatoes?, red pepper in dip, watermelon and Jello!

Mmmm, nothing says "I love you" like Jello shots. j/k!

Those are really cute, Kim. Copying and pasting some to my ideas folder.

Yapha.......something like what you did last year would be good using the flamingos instead of the birds, and no coloring.

I really like those candy heart tubes with the scallop hearts on top.

We figured out what Eve is going to do. 3x3 card in Real Red, with the girl Build-a-Bear stamped on a Whisper White square. Eve will color those in. Then we'll stamp the envelope with the heart on a separate piece of card stock, cut it out and pop it up with a Stampin' Dimensional. I'll post a picture when we have our prototype.

Can't remember who it was, but someone did one recently where they stamped a couple of hearts, (sideways) to look like wings, and used the smarties candies for a body for a dragonfly. Make two sets of wings. Or you could use the butterfly punch maybe. I think it was someone here who did it. Sorry I'm not more help, but I'm in the flu fog right now, can't think

It not only could be you......it is you!! lol I was pretty sure it was someone on here, just couldn't remember who. Thanks hun. I'm feeling a tiny bit better each day which is good. Not quite in as bad a fog as I was earlier, only a little foggy now. Earlier today I felt totally stoned. Hate that flu fog.
