Did you know that you can order Decor Elements vinyl sheets in loads of colors including the chalkboard???
I thought all that was available was what was in the catalog.
Here is a link:
Stampin' Up! Online Ordering
I knew these had been offered during the 12 days of Christmas sales but couldn't find them again. Someone made me the coolest project using the chalkboard sheets and the Top Note Die.

I ordered some of the Certainly Celery ones last month, but I haven't put them up yet. I'm using them to "ground" the princess and carriage in Eve's room. It looks great in my head...
Do you have a link to the top note die /chalkboard project?

I bought a bunch of these, thinking I'd use them in my BS or Cricut but haven't done a thing. I'd love to see some ideas if anyone would like to share.

Rose, at Regionals on Saturday in Fort Collins , Michelle Theriault from Longmont did a workshop wow presentation of vinyl, mostly the chalkboard. I only took one pic of her samples - a perpetual calendar. It's in the regional thread http://www.stampinaddicts.com/2010-s...-half-day.html

Thanks for the link Mary - that is such a cool idea! I didn't order any of these vinyl sheets cause I had no idea what to do with them.

somewhere else I saw a demo that bought straight side mugs (like the sides go straight up, instead of curved) and wrapped a piece of chalkboard vinyl around the mug and tied a piece of chalk with a ribbon to the handle.
Michelle Theriault also demo-ed a large framed cork board with decor element pieces on it - like various sized circles in a variety of colors and then a title across the bottom. and more decor pieces on and inside a floating framed (two pieces of glass) and then glass etching on a glass bottle with the negatives of those various circle pieces

Thanks, Mary, for passing on that neat idea. If we lived near one another I'd give you a glass of red burgundy!

Here is what Barbara, my sideline, made for a demo swap. Isn't it wonderful? All I had for my swap was a Valentine.
