Hi everyone,
I usually start my Christmas cards early but only making very few of them then there's always a mad rush in November. So this year I decided I wasn't going to put myself through that panic again. So while waiting to pick up my children from school one day I made a list of ideas to help me get my cards done quicker and I've now made this into a blog post which I thought might be helpful for others.
Has anyone else started their Christmas cards? Any other tips/ideas to share around?
Cheers,
Angela

I have. I sell a lot of Christmas/holiday cards, so I start early. I get an order of 40 cards every year from the same guy...I do 2 each of 20 different designs.
I am working on my design right now. I hope to get going on them soon.
Cool! You guys are organised.![]()
Yep, I've started by doing three designs and now I'm deciding which one I'm going to mass produce. I'm going to pick that early this week and then get busy!

I need to start mine. I'm also making my mom's and they have a lot of watercoloring, so I really need to get to work asap.

After embarrassing myself by finishing and sending my Christmas cards the day after Christmas last year, I resolved to make at least four Christmas cards every month, starting last January. Of course, that was before I knew I'd be making so many online friends that I needed to add to the list! So, while I have done the four per month (different design each month), I need to make about 12 per month through November to have enough to send in December!!!![]()
I have kind-of started mine. I have my design finished, and my mock up is done. Now I just need to make about 75-100 of them, and I'll be good to go.![]()
Started, then put it away, need to start again ASAP because I am using the pop up tree for quite a few, especially family. You reminded me to get it out again. Last year at the very last minute I (gasp) bought some store bought and raced through signing them. Thank you for reminding me! I WILL start again tonight.
My blogging buddy Georgie and I have challenged each other to make 2 a week...one simple and one more involved. So I an say that I've actually started mine this month. That's a huge improvement on what it's been in years past!!!!
Oh no!I must admit, I buy Christmas cards each year for the children to give to their friends. I give them my cards that I'm not entirely happy with and then buy extras. I've told my children they're welcome to use my Stampin' Up! stuff to make their Christmas cards but they're too lazy.

Check these two cards that Tessa Wise made! I love the simplicity of them and the colors are great. Can you smell that? It's the smell of a hot and toasty CASE.

I made all my cards last year. Maybe I'll actually get around to mailing them this year.

Chuckle...Brandi, I do the same thing every year LOL
I got a ton of christmas cards in the FC swaps so I am sorted this year - phew - they might just get mailed this time around too...maybe...![]()
Working on mine, one of my swaps for regionals was using the Dasher stamp, so now I've just got to make some more of that one and figure out another. I usually make and send out about 80. I'll come back and post one of my Dasher cards tomorrow.
