SU! Acrylic Blocks

Can I just say that these are the MOST FABULOUS ACRYLIC BLOCKS EVER!!!!! I am so pleased with the quality, feel and appearance of them. They have wonderful rounded edges (maybe that's a bad description, but they're not beveled at hard angles or with "sharp" corners/edges) and are labeled with the letter block that they are and of course with "Stampin' Up!" and they're just so pretty and shiny and clear. I love them!!! Oh, did I say that? Plus, they're priced appropriately. They're wonderful!!

If you haven't seen them, check them out here, but it doesn't do them justice: Stampin' Up! Online Ordering

I agree too! I sprung for the bundle, and I'm sooo glad I did! I had some cheap ones that I used at first.. definitely get what you pay for. It hurt my hands to stamp with the cheap ones!

Yay for SU!'s blocks!

Is it wrong to feel so much love for a hunk o' plastic? I feel the same way! It's my first experience with clear mounts -- very impressed!

I purchased the bundle, too and yes, they are awesome.

I came up with a nice way to store them - in 2 extra SU! clamshells all wrapped up in felt. They will be stored in these boxes until I am able to sew a more permanent storage system for them.

I, C, and E fit in one with room to spare for extras. All the others fit in the other clamshell.

Brilliant Trina! I think I have some extra clamshells. I've been wondering how to store them.

Great storage idea Trina. Here's my idea for club or workshops to have less handling of the blocks.

Ooohhh...I like the idea of a quilted storage system with little pockets for each block. That's a great idea Trina!

Nice storage idea, Trina! I had mine stored in one of those small Sterile 3-drawer desktop storage units (using 2 drawers). I like the idea of a storage case with individual pockets though!

And maybe you could use the top note die for the pockets

I agree! These are the most delicious blocks ever. They feel so nice in your hand. I love that they are finished on every edge--nothing sharp anywhere!

Love your idea Trina! Thanks so much for sharing! My clear blocks just arrived yesterday. I am going to bust them out tonight and try them. But I already love the rounded corner and the indent on the sides that make them easier to grasp. I have some older plain, square blocks that I have a feeling won't get much use now

Unfortunately I don't have any of these blocks yet. I have seen and handled them and agree that they are wonderful! I can't wait to get my own!

I love your current idea Trina and I would LOVE, LOVE to see what you come up with when you sew a permanent storage for them!
