YEAH! The shorter commute alone gives you an extra hour a day to stamp. LOL! I hope the new location is all you want it to be and more.
I have been working in a VERY small hospital 45 minutes from my home for 6 years, and I just got hired to the regional hospital that is 10 minutes from my home!! I will still be in ER, but in a hospital that has MUCH more to offer me in career advancement. The one I am at now does not even have a CT scanner and we have to shipo most things out! I am so excited!!!

Thanks everybody! I am so excited! And at the same time sad as I won't be working with my favorite people anymore... And right now Jamie works down the hall from me and when I have to run a sample to lab, I can stop and say hi to him. But with the new job, I will work 1 less 12 hour sift every 2 weeks and make the same amount of money.
I'm sure you'll meet new "favorite people" at your new job in not time at all. And 12 hours every two weeks of extra stamping time sounds great!
Woohoo! Congratulations! More time with the family!
