    I'm going in....getting a Big Shot--must have dies?

Okay...I'm breaking down and doin' it. I'm getting the Big Shot! I'm not a scrapbooker, but I am a card maker and 3-D crafter. Sooooo, what are the must have dies?

    On my list already:

    Top Note
    Scallop Circle
    Textruz Plate Background #1
    Matchbox Bigz XL die
    Embosslit Simple Flower

Talk me out of any or in of any. Just do it fast as I want to place my order ASAP.

I agree on the daises, I've used that on cards, it's beautiful! The other one to think about is the butterfly die. I really love that one. I've also used the birds and blooms quite a bit. The flowers are the perfect size for cards.

And I'm dying to get the matchbox die, I'm getting tired of going to my uplines to use it and it's perfect for gifting jewelry.

Thank you for the suggestions! Does anyone have the Circle Scallop die? Is it the same size as the Carousel Notes?

I have the circle scallop die, but not carousel notes. The cut circle is 4 3/4" - according to the catalog description of carousel notes, that would be somewhat smaller.

Wowza...that is smaller. I did go ahead and order it, so if it is too small, I can mount it on a 5x5 square card. Thanks for the heads up!

Funny you should ask. I was just thinking I should give a follow up. So here it is...Lisa's Big Girl, Big Shot order:

    The Big Shot
    Top Notes
    Scallop Circle
    Texturz Plates Background #1
    Matchbox
Sizzlits Little Leaves (upon someone's suggestion!)
    Manhattan Flower

That's the sexy stuff, plus all the pads to make the sandwiches. I'm thrilled I finely ordered it all. I need a personal shopper who will force me to buy things as soon as they are available. I have a whole lot of catching up to do now!

I'm an original sizzix owner (that I rarely used) and just got the bigshot. OMG! Why did I wait so long? What a huge difference! I am only waiting until I'm back at work (read making $$ after being off with a broken foot) to order the box and envelope die. That one looks awesome. I'm a sucker for boxes. I bought the A2 envelope die and think that was a total waste, as was the movers and shapers envelope, it seems smaller than the card size. I haven't actually TRIED it yet so shouldn't bash it. I also got the "look here" gift card holder and can't wait to use it to hold all the gift cards at Christmas. I'm just waiting until I have the gift cards so I can match the colors to the cards. Congrats on your BS. I see this is an older thread, what have you gotten and loved? What do you regret? I'm still in the want every die mode.

I'd skip the matchbox and get some texture folders and another flower.
