I asked about it earlier today Betsy. Here's what James said:

It's something he's playing with and he'd like to know what you think.
Hi, I just noticed this tonight...it hasn't ever happened until now. In several of the threads I'm reading, there are words here and there that are in green and underlined, as if linked to something. The first one I clicked on, because it seemed like it was linked to a project example. I wound up at Sears! After that, I didn't click, but just rolling my cursor over them causes a pop-up ad. Now, I don't know HOW that happens, because I have a pop up blocker turned ON. What's the scoop? Any ideas?
Help!
ETA: OK, I see them in this posting! Once I submitted the post, the "Sears" and two other words changed to underlined/green. Please tell me this isn't just me...

Thanks, Debbi...gotta say it's not my favorite thing, but it's nice to know it's not me, lol.
Not my favorite thing either. But now that I know the green double underlines means advertising, I don't have to scroll over it. And if it helps pay for the site, well then, I won't complain.
But there's just something about highlighted and underlined that makes you need to click. Ah the joys of advertising!
Nope not just you.![]()
