You may or may not have noticed that the challenges are all on hiatus right now. Several of our swap hostesses have had major changes in their lives that make it difficult for them to host challenges right now. Also, the limited number of players makes it hard to stay motivated to produce a challenge every week, especially during the busy summer months.
I do want to thank our regular hostesses: Holly (Catrules), Trina (Pepesmom), Rhonda, (Rhondag), Crissy (IndyCrissy) and the others who have hosted challenges in the past for their hard work and dedication. (If I try to name everyone, I am sure to leave off someone). And we appreciate those who have played a long too.
We will reevaluate the challenge situation in September. In the mean time, the previous challenges are all still here and you are more than welcome to go back and play along with any of them at any time.

If you decide to move forward in the fall, perhaps each challenge could last a month? This would relieve the pressure on hostesses since it would be 12 challenges instead of 52. ?? Just thinking "out loud".

I would like to shout out a HUGE THANK YOU to any and everyone that has hosted a challenge on SA. I have only filled in for some (with a minimal amount of times) and I know how hard it was for me....I can't imagine the weekly effort it takes for all!!
I agree with Adriana...maybe a monthly challenge is more reasonable. I know I could participate more and even consider hosting 1 or 2 of the challenges if it was a monthly event. Thanks for the suggestion!!

Sorry Tanya. I'm having some issues with my kids lately so I'm not in a place I can commit to when they will be back. Hoping things settle down eventually and I can spend more time in the stamp room.
But it is very hard for the hostesses to commit to doing these when we have so few people play along with them. I'm not sure what the answer is for that one though . . .

I know we didn't have much participation. I did the scrapbooking sketch challenge once a month and was lucky if there were any participants. There are so many challenges out there now, it is hard to compete.
A lot of challenges and we are a smaller group here on this forum. I love challenges but found that I was hoarding the sketches for "when I can play". Which is not nearly as often as I would like :0
