    3D071~Tea Bag Holder~9/6/10

Morning and welcome to Stampin' Addicts Monday 3D Challenge!!!

Today's Challenge is a simple and easy one! The challenge for today is to create a Tea Bag Holder!

Here is mine outside view 3D071~ Tea Bag Holder Front View - Stampin Addicts Gallery

Inside view 3D071~ Tea Bag Holder Inside View - Stampin Addicts Gallery

    Supplies~

    Scoring Tool
    Card Stock
    Stamps
    Embellishments
    Big Shot and supplies
    Sticky Strip

    Directions~

    1. Cut 1 piece of Crumb Cake card stock 3 1/4" x 7"; score at 1 1/2" and 4 1/4".

    2. Cut 2 pieces of Basic Black card stock 2 1/2"x 3". One is for the front and one is for the inside. Snail down to your front and inside piece on the left.

    3. Cut 2 pieces of Poppy Parade card stock 2 1/4" x 2 3/4". One is for the front and one is for the inside. Snail one down inside to the Basic Black card stock.

    4. Cut 2 pieces of Whisper White card stock 2" x 2 1/2". One is for the front and one is for the inside. Stamp your images on these pieces. Once piece will be snailed to the loose card stock. Then put dimensionals on the back so you can run the ribbon through on the front side.

    5. Cut 1 piece of Poppy Parade card stock 1" x 3 1/4". Punch it using the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch. Snail to the pocket part which will be the 1 1/2" part.

    6. Cut 1 piece of Daffodil Delight card stock 3/4" x 3 1/4". Snail to the top side of the pocket part. Run your ribbon around, and secure with glue dots. Then Run Sticky Strip across the top and bottom; close and you've created the pocket for your tea bag.

Thanks Holly for another fun challenge. I had to make mine an inch larger than yours cause my tea bag was too large.

Here is my tea bag holder (outside) in the SA Gallery.

I like yours better than mine....I made these for Fort Worth, but mine are the old school kind. This is so nice tucking in from the side, and it uses less cardstock!

I loved the layout so much, and I thought it might work as a gift card holder if I made it a little larger, so here is my gift card holder using the same layout:

I really like this idea! I made it larger to hold my Bigelow teabag, so the measurements are on my blog.
